Nolan Walker of Joshua High School and Cody Kidd of Burleson High School have been named recipients of the 2021 Polly Guthrie Memorial Scholarship. Walker will receive a $2,500 scholarship and Kidd a $1,500 award. Both plan to attend Texas A&M University where Walker will study business management and Kidd will seek an engineering degree. Walker is the son of Kristen and Will Walker of Burleson. Kidd’s parents are Judge Bill and Stephanie Bosworth of Burleson.
